William Dawes Adventure Run

This Great event is run every year and anyone interested is welcome to ride all or part of the course. The ride will trace the route that William Dawes rode on the night of April 18, 1775 from Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams that the regulars were marching from Boston.
The ride starts at the location of Joseph Warren's home in Government Center and travels through Boston, Roxbury, Brookline, Brighton, Allston, Cambridge, Arlington and arrives in Lexington at the historic Clarke-Hancock House around Midnight.
Along the 18 mile ride there will be talks about buildings,sites and the events of that historical evening.
